Granite Polishing for Floors

Granite polishing powders are used to polish all types of polished granite floors. Granite is second hardest stone, second only to diamond and maintaining its natural luster under heavy foot traffic requires granite specific products.

General Scratch Removal Resurfacing Procedure:

1. Thoroughly strip the floor to remove surface coating.

2. Hone the surface with Scratch Removal Discs and water.
Honing process times: Granite= 1 min. per sq. ft.

3. Vacuum the slurry and rinse with Neutral Stone Cleaner.

Step 2 - Granite Polish Powder

Wet Polishing Procedures:

1) Pour 1 oz. Granite Polish Powder and 1 oz. of water directly onto the floor.

2) Buff 10-12 sq. ft. with a white floor pad.

3) Continue to buff until mixture is completely dry and gloss is restored.

4) Sweep or vacuum to remove the powder residue.

Coverage:
The coverage per case (16 ounces per case) of Granite Polish Powder is approximately 200 square feet on a polished granite floor.
